- andre, I don't think anyone should be dictating anything to anyone. But, it does seem that religious nuts try to dictate their beliefs on others, while atheists like me are simply trying to get them to stop the nonsense (like teaching creationism in schools, etc.)

- gmross, The rest of that statement isn't true according to the organized Christians, in that a person isn't BORN a Christian, they become Christians through faith and asking Jesus to come into their hearts.

Thank you for the help and advice. I told my dad what's going on, and I've been spending more time with him since then(we went to the theatre and saw HP&DHpart1--it was awesome!). We still aren't sure about what to do, but I feel alot better now.
